Artist's Description
A Cardinal Flower and a Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Cardinal Flowers are a favorite of hummingbirds. This is the same photograph as Cardinal Flower and Hummingbird 1, but is cropped to the golden ratio instead of 1 by 1. I like both croppings, each giving a quite a different impression of the same scene. What do you think? Which one do you prefer?

Rob, I think the active, neutral colored bird shows up beautifully against the complementary colors. And I prefer this image!
